Now we only lack multispectral camera to acquire predator-like vision.

A great accessory for the Oculus Rift . ( at under $100 U.S this is a bargain )
These guys have checked which 3D camera's work best with the Rift... & being based in Japan they know the quality that's currently available at this price point. For sure more peripherals will emerge but most probably at around $250+ price range. I work alot with A.R so this will be a very interesting A.R gaming experience.
I think it would be good to have the camera mounting face plate & actual camera separate. Clip camera to mounting bracket & then attach to the Oculus Rift. This way it can be used in other projects, not only A.R / Oculus HMD mounted projects.

Finally we can experience how does it feel like if all you have to look with is one laser and one infrared eye.

Last 24 hours to back this project! Reminder, on Indigogo the money is still received even if the goal isn't met.
We haven't heard word one from Oculus about AR capacity (unless John Carmack's passthrough tweets--presumably using Android phones' built in single camera--count), so this seems like a good option for those with a devkit to explore true AR software opportunities.
