Hello, all!

I did a search of the Oculus Rift forum, and didn't see anything about this, so thought I'd share...

I just ran across a blog post that said that they were given some 360 degree videos that work with the Oculus Rift, including dodgeball and skydiving.

I don't have my Rift in hand yet (fingers are crossed for this week... I'm in the next shipment), but am currently downloading them to see how they look.

EDIT: Just checked it out. They look like they could be pretty neat in the Rift... Unfortunately there is only 360 rotation horizontally (can only look left and right, rather than up and down), but I'd imagine it could still be neat in the Rift regardless.

The videos offer complete freedom of movement IE up/down, left/right

Try them again using a rift

.. tried it .. it was interesting, but kinda made me motion sick .. interesting enough, there was a kickstarter a while back, and it was a 360 camera for pics and music.. sorry I can't remember the name... but anyway, id love to start working on getting video working on some unity or UDK template.. see what other experiences would be interesting to rift with.
