Post by Dilip »

Microsoft has decided to join google bandwagon for affordable smart phone based virtual reality, apparently for LUMIAS.

Kicking up with developers hackathon in Russia that’s scheduled on October 17.

It will be interesting to see how they are going to implement it over windows platform. As most entry/Mid level Microsoft phones are
'DEVOID' of gyro or good trackers other than windows as OS not that interesting as Android.

Lumia 430, 532, 535, 730 none said they have GYRO Sensor and Without GYRO Sensor how on earth they are going to do Good VR?

Only 735,830,930 have it ..is it that expensive sensor to include? i have noticed it on many $200 android phones.
Even Lumia 640XL does not have Gyro So here MS Sucks...

So far only one app nival's 'IN Mind VR' available at windows store which is note worthy. Else its totally boring store from VR point of view.
