40$ +/- gyro/accelo combo

Hey guys, I was curious to know if anyone knew of a 40$ gyro/accelo combo
that has a high refresh rate, and a high G count?

let me know please!

You can try the Pololu MiniIMU. The new version is $20:

I tried the older model and it seems alright. Keep in mind, you will need a micro-controller (Arduino, etc) which adds to the cost.

While the measurements seemed alright the polling rate seemed like it could be better. Probably just the code I found (serial communication).

Not sure if you were looking for something with USB / Bluetooth / etc. Hope that helps.

hey cyber, I was curious, what if you take the gait tracking algorithms from the X-IMU,
the stabilizing code from CyberMerlins video youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwlOZzNJqJc
he's essentially reduced the drift to zero, I asked him what the readings were after several hours, but
he hasn't gotten back to me yet....... and fuse them together?

Merlin said you can make the board he has for 33$, but I still don't have a price tag for the gait tracking yet
hopefully won't be too expensive.....

what do you think?
