Nice! Thanks.

Zoide, 1,48m is probably still fine; the waist support belt will simply end up higher (more around the stomach than the waist), which gives less freedom for the hands but functions ok.

Realyst2k: the surface of the Omni is not coated, but exists of a solid low-friction material. As such, wear and tear is not an issue (in the contrary, the more you use the Omni, the more micro grooves get formed in the surface, making the surface smoother for use).

Both full shoes and clip-ons have their pros and cons. The Omni shoe soles are pretty complex in order to enable a natural gait. Clip-ons have the risk of reduced functionality when used in conjunction with less appropriate shoes (too much rounding, too narrow or wide, ...). If we deliver full shoes, we can control the functionality and deliver an optimal experience. We'll do our best to make the shoes as comfortable as possible to accommodate most.

k2k, you cannot use the Omni without the ring. The DIY reward on Kickstarter allows you to build your own upper structure, but let there be no misunderstanding: you will need an upper structure for safety and support. We will provide sketches to allow you to copy our design, or you can design your own, but you won't get away with not building anything :).

Thanks for all the questions and suggestions!
