Not quite what we want, sadly. Monochrome, and e-paper usually has abysmal refresh rates.

Yep, e-ink has a long way to go before it can be used for VR/gaming.

An HMD with smart glass on the outside part that becomes opaque or transparent with a switch, and on the inside a flexible amoled display would be so cool
