With a res of 2048×1536 @ 264 pixels per inch on a 10" screen, given how light they are, I would think this would make for a really immersive foundation to base a LEAP style optical system off of at an affordable price.

Just as interesting in that article is the mention of a 7.85" iPad. It seems like that would be better suited for HMD.

Isn't 10" too big for an HMD. I mean, I get tired just *holding* an iPad in my hands. Can't imagine strapping one of those to my head would be comfortable.
