Shutter-Glasses + 3D Movies
Are any full length movies available that can be played on a PC with Shutterglasses? All the ones I can find are Red/Cyan
However I can find plenty of Trailers and other short videos that are playable.

Re: Shutter-Glasses + 3D Movies
There is a reasonable selection of field-sequential and Sensio 3D DVDs.
I have listed them on my Illustrated 3D Movie List website: http://www.3dmovielist.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Check out both the 3D movie list and the 3D DVD list.
Cheers,
Andrew.

Nothing on the list really catches my attention Any recommendations of good ones?
Is Journey to the Center of the Earth not available? I thought it was produced in 3D :S

Re: Shutter-Glasses + 3D Movies
Stereoscopic Player supports it, but every time I've tried playing a video in Stereoscopic Player it BSOD's my machine. (Occurs inside nVidia -Main- Driver and is caused by Fullscreen Resolution Switch)
Anyone here use Stereoscopic Player with Old-nVidia Stereo Drivers?

Re: Shutter-Glasses + 3D Movies
I use it too but haven't been able to play sensio allright. I have to say my computer is a mess with all codecs i've tried and overwritten so most probably the problem is just that.
However the stereoscopic player is awesome in any other aspects! It takes more or less every formats and supports a hige number of different outputs. Well worth a license if you ask me. Without license you can only playback 5 minutes at a time.

Re: Shutter-Glasses + 3D Movies
Wow, thanks for the link, man!!! It seems that 3D movies are getting a bit more popular this year, and all we need is a catalyst for the media, to make them start craving 3-D. What's next, after DVD, then high-def Blu-ray, then what next? THREE-D!!!!!

I think any Journey to the Center of the Earth you find that says it is Field Sequential is actually a de-anaglyphed version.

Well, at least the theater versions use polarized glasses instead of awful red/cyan.UndeadD3vi1 wrote:Getting more populare but most releases are stil Red/Cyan

Re: Shutter-Glasses + 3D Movies
Some recent releases are green/magenta. The 3D version of "journey to the center of the earth" and the upcoming release (on May 19th) of the 3D version of "My bloody valentine 3D" are green/magenta.

Re: Shutter-Glasses + 3D Movies
Ahh, that explains why the journey movie didnt look good with my anaglyph glasses other than the ones that were bundled with the DVD! Duh, it's green, not blue!Tril wrote:Some recent releases are green/magenta. Re: Shutter-Glasses + 3D Movies
Yeah and its crappy at that. Not sure if its the difference in color but I find Journey to the Centre of the Earth uncomfortable to watch. I think it has something to do with the way things kept changing color depending on what I looked at in the scene... (I bought it on Blu-Ray btw, so yes using the offical glasses!)

Re: Shutter-Glasses + 3D Movies
http://www.3D-geek.net I found this site by luck and he has quite a selection. He carries Field Sequential and Anaglyph . Drop Rob/3D-Geek a line if you don't see anything you like and maybe he can get it for you. I talked back and forth with him and he seems very knowledgeable about 3D in general. Oh btw all the movies are only $9.99 +shipping of course.

Try de-anaglyphing a movie http://www.mtbs3d.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=3488, it's fun and educational
I came here to chew bubblegum and to see 3D...and I'm all out of bubblegum!
