Jaden, I don't understand you!

You get super excited about a movie website that doesn't do anything except show NVIDIA glasses and ask for private info without explanation, but you feel "meh" about the biggest gaming magazine putting an article out about S-3D to 2.6 million readers featuring MTBS, NVIDIA, iZ3D, and Blitz Games Studios.

How did you get this magazine a month ago? It's a March publication.

Neil

I think it's an awesome article. It gives the basics on 3D gaming to those who are not familiar with it.

Jaden: The copy I have says March. How did you get one last month?

I had no idea GAMEINFORMER subscribers had a month of lead time compared to everybody else. That's service!

I wish my newspaper subscriptions were like that...I'd be a rich man!

Will someone from MTBS be at the March 2009 Game Developers Conference mentioned in the article?

Yes, I will be. Wouldn't miss it for the world!

Blitz Games Studios is doing a presentation about S-3D gaming on console. Big deal to see I'm sure! NVIDIA has also sponsored a separate session to talk about S-3D game development for the GeForce 3D Vision solution.

Wonderful, Thanks for the responce Neil. I look forward to your report on it.

Does MTBS have a calendar of important upcoming events like this, hopefully with some sort of description like you gave?

I'm going to be speaking at Dimension-3 Expo in June, and another event in Germany in May - more details to come for sure.

I'm not speaking at GDC this year, but if you want to meet, we can make arrangements via PM.

I just started a Game Informer subscription this afternoon and they gave me a copy of the above mentioned magazine at the store. Great write up. Nice to see MTBS and Neil's name in a published magazine. Good publicity for sure.

I'm looking forward to the "console 3D coming out party" the article alluded to. You know I am an active member here and I totally missed the info about there being gaming companies that will design games with 3D in mind, no drivers required. Curios to find out who these developers are.

Has anyone else noticed a large increase in posts here on our forums? I would be willing to wager that the MTBS survey and this article in GameInformer has a lot to do with this increase. Seems like ever since Christmas its become more and more cumbersome to check all the forums and keep up with everything. I find myself just logging in just for NAW lately.

No complaints here!

MTBS broke 23,000 posts today. Better to have more than not enough.
