Getting "forbidden" when trying to message

Was working with a member on an issue using private messages, and for some reason, I am getting a "access forbidden" when I go to my private messages. I can back out and reload the page then it works, then I send a message and it says sent, but its not appearing in my sent messages. Wondering if anyone has encountered this and knows what is going on with it. Thanks!
