Friday the 13th 3D DVD release next week

Post by Gae43 »

Anyone else ordered a copy? I've ordered the Region 1 version even though I'm in the UK, because I dont know if the Region 2 release has the 3D version included. Info on this is non-existent.

Field-Sequential 3D works with shuter glasses but I think VHD is some kind of support like the cd video was at the time, I'm not sure a dvd player can read those so even if I was lucky enough to find friday the 13th in such a format, I'm not sure I could use it anyway :|

VHD was a format that came out from JVC in the mid-80s to compete with VHS and BETA video. Apparently a lot of the 3D films were released on this format (in Japan) and so the 3D films have been transferred from this format. "House of Wax" and "Dial M For Murder" are examples, hence the Japanese subtitles!! 8)
