Trackir emulation in FS2004 with glovpie, anyone?

I've been using joystick emulation (glovepie + ppjoy) for headtracking in FS2004 which allows 3 DOF. But I'm getting used to the 6 DOF thing and, as trackir in FS2004 gives 6, I'm trying to make it work with trackir emulation.

I can't find almost nothing about people having problems to make it work on the net, so it looks like it should be working quite easily.
But I launch the glovepie script, launch FS, and nothing happens. The profile ID field of faketrackir remains 0. I don't have any problem with other games with native trackir suppport.

Yes, I already have that dll from natural point on the modules directory of FS.

So, please, anyone around here using glovepie and trackir emulation in FS2004 succesfuly? (not FSX). I need some help.

Yes, I already know this great application. I'm using a tiny bit of its source code for personal use. Maybe I could go that way again and investigate how it is interfacing with fs2004, if it does.

Hey crim3

Don't know if you've already double-checked but if applicable be sure you have the latest patch for FS2004 installed.

I've used both TrackIR and GlovePie to emulate the TrackIR in a few different applications and I recall at least one case where I had to update to the latest release / patch of the application I was working with to attain the TrackIR support.
