How can I get stereoscopic 3D in Unity and UE2-based games?

Post by DevilMaster »

For many years I've used ReShade, the SuperDepth3D.fx shader and a custom 3D adjuster shader, to play games in stereoscopic 3D. However, ReShade cannot read the depth buffer in games based on Unity, UE2 or UE3. Is there any free alternative to ReShade?

My specs:
Windows 7
i7 2600 @ 3 GHz
GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
10 GB of RAM
A homemade headset that the PC sees a a monitor, with the resolution of 1080P. This requires 3D images to be displayed at their true proportions, which is what I use the custom ReShade shader for (to rescale their height correctly), in addition to SuperDepth3D.fx (which would display them with the correct width but twice the height).
