Re: Fail to take 3d screenshots or 3d recording

You can try FRAPS https://fraps.com/download.php. It worked for me at least with the 425 driver. You need to check "Capture video in stereoscopic 3D" in settings and you should be able to record 3D videos. It can also take screenshots, but unfortunately only in 2D as far as I know. But you can record a short video, open it in a player without enabling 3D, take a screenshot of the side by side picture there and then save it as .jps or .pns.

Try to install the regular non-DCH 452 driver from https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/results/162980/ You might need to use DDU if it doesn't install.

Probably it has compatibility issues with some games. Not sure if it can be fixed somehow.

Check https://3dvision-blog.com/780-guide-on- ... 3d-movies/ It has some tips on how to improve the performance.

Unfortunately if you want more than 30 seconds, you need to buy it.

I think regular and DCH drivers should support the same GPUs. You can open Device Manager, find your videocard and check your Hardware Ids on the details tab. Then extract the driver .exe (you can use 7-Zip for example) and search for your "VEN_xxxx&DEV_xxxx" in Display.Driver\nv_dispi.inf. If it's there, it should support your videocard. But a regular driver might refuse to install after you installed a DCH driver, so you need to use DDU to remove all traces of your DCH driver.

If you still can't install a regular driver, check the link that 3DNovice gave for a DCH driver fix if you haven't already.
