Hello there!
I've been reading the forum for a few days now, and I just can't seem to find a solution for my problem.
I used to be able to watch my 3d blu rays using the Nvidia 3d fix manager and powerdvd 17 on my old rtx 2060 pc and 3d projector. Now that I have upgraded to a rtx 4090, I no longer can get the 3d fix manager to work.
I've read that since the 3000 series cards. The 3d stereo driver 425.31 will no longer work for these cards apparently.
Has anyone found a solution to still playback 3d blu ray discs in software like powerdvd on an rtx 3000+ series card?

Thank you for your reply 3DNovice
It seems that my best solution is to get a secondary drive to use as a boot drive. And then use the old drivers using Losti's fix on that. (Hopefully)
I haven't tried it yet, but pepelatz claims to have PowerDVD working on a rtx 3070 using that method.

Re: 3D Blu-ray playback on RTX 4090
I now got 3d vision working in PowerDvD 17 on my RTX 4090 by using 3D Fix Manager and Nvidia studio driver version 528.49 (The latest), and I'm on windows 11 home 22H2 (22621.1265)
I did install MadVR and set it up for 3d while testing JRiver player. But I don't think MadVR has any influence on powerdvd, But I just want to be thorough, since I tried a lot of stuff before installing the studio drivers haha.
So for anyone curious. 3D Vision still works for RTX 4090 if you are using the studio drivers and 3d fix manager apparently.
So I am VERY Happy with this.
Now Spread the word!

Playing Mafia 2 also works with 3d vision.

Interesting. Does the 4090 work with 3d vision gaming? I heard it works with geo-11 for (non 3d vision) 3d gaming. Probably will upgrade to the 4000 series when the prices are better. Sticking with the 2080ti for as long as I can.I now got 3d vision working in PowerDvD 17 on my RTX 4090

Very helpful. Thank you so much!3DNovice wrote: ↑Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:28 am If your projector is only PC Ready with Nvidia Glasses, then yes, your options are limited, since the Nvidia 3D Vision drivers need to be used for "disc" playback. Though, there are converters that can output Frame Sequential
If HDMI 1.4 capable, help save the planet and use anything but your gaming PC. A CPU integrated graphics processor can handle Blue-ray 3D playback just fine,
unless unsupported, I think stereoscopic support may have been dropped on some newer Intel chips. So do your research. You can pick up used, refurbished, thrift store PCs very cheap.
And... these new Pico PCs are getting insane, like the Pantera Pico PC (not for gaming, but for video/streaming/surfing)
The Pantera Pico PC from XDO Tech uses an Intel Celeron J4125 quad-core processor from the Gemini Lake Refresh generation, running at 2.0 GHz base frequency and 2.7 GHz boost frequency. Across all cores, the boost is
maintained at 2.4 GHz. The Gemini Lake SoC sports Intel's UHD 600 graphics, with a 10 Watt TDP, a 250 MHz base, and a 750 MHz boost frequency. https://youtu.be/1CBQM2X8BZQ Review by Linus Tech Tips
Cyberlink uses TrueTheater and it isn't exclusive to Nvidia

Nvidia has PureVideo, but I'm not sure if it's even applicable these days
