The Legend of Zelda : Breath of the Wild (cemu)

Post by freetribes »

Hi !
When I try to launch zelda via cemu with the fixes https://helixmod.blogspot.com/2017/07/z ... n-fix.html
Game freezes after loading shaders.

Do you have a solution ?

Thanks

Have you tried different versions of CEMU and the older one that was used to make this specific fix?

Good morning,

So, I tested different versions of CEMU;
(Very) old versions work!

These old versions do not support Zelda improvements, for example:
60FPS and high resolutions.

But, I managed to make it work with the latest version of CEMU, "CEMU_2.0-25"
The only problem I have is that the image is really too dark. When I'm in the shade, I don't see anything at all. When I'm in the light, full sun is getting white.

I think it should not be too complicated has corrected, but I unfortunately do not have the skills for that. Do you know someone who can occupy this?

Good day !

There is one great benefit using this older method that Sgsrules made from Helifax's shader. There is an issue where the Depth buffer would be lost at certain instances that Sgsrules countered which worked really nice. This usually happened when things tried to move beyond zero parallax or popping out of the screen. (at least this is the way I understand it).

You can get much more from this game while using Reshade and Super Depth 3D. But I couldnt find anything that would counter the DB issues where convergence jumps around caused by dust particles flying around in the sky. In Reshade with SD3D you can see a raw render of the Depth Buffer and this disappears for some reason at certain camera angles. But I believe its the same issue that SGSrules counteracted. If you can live with this issues you could juice a lot more out of ZBOTW. Apart from this issue the game was running extremely well with all the other mods and shaders that supports Reshade.

Look at the before and after shots here:

Hello,
Excuse me for reviving the topic.
But are there a few things to deal with saturation issues?

Thanks

I thought Zelda BOTW was not 3D compatible with recent CEMUs

Hello,
It launches fine with the latest version, "CEMU_2.0-25", but there is a big problem with contrast saturation.
I don't know if it's very complicated to correct, because I don't know anything about it :(

It looks like that the Nexus mod he linked is a reShade preset+mcfly plugin to address saturation
