Geo3D and Katanga ?

Is it possible to use Katanga with Geo3D ? Because Katanga even supports Full SBS and the VRScreenCap does not work properly on my HP Reverb G2.

VRScreenCap has a WMR Users Disclaimer

This application uses Vulkan as its backend. To the best of my knowledge WMR still doesn't support OpenXR Vulkan applications so this one won't work out of the box for you. You can try to run VR Screen Cap through projects like OpenXR-Vk-D3D12 but I can't guarantee It'll work.

Geo3D is typically used to refer to Geometry 3D.
And yes, Katanga was specifically designed to be used with community fixes for geometry 3D.

If you are referring to geo-11, then please call it what it is (and if so...rename the thread appropriately)

Flugan has a project called Geo3D that "works" for DX12 (no shader fixes). I believe that is probably what he is referring to.

Oh yah, my bad I forgot about that.

But I doubt that Bo3b would ever integrate anything from Flugan after his Steam Group shananigans

Why all this hate in the scene in the last year ?

It seems that Geo3D has been axed.

My Samsung Odyssey works 100% fine with the OpenXR-Vk-D3D12.

The compatibility of VR applications like VRScreenCap and others with specific VR headsets depends on several factors, including the headset's hardware capabilities, the software's support for the headset's SDK (Software Development Kit), and any middleware or compatibility layers used.

It is possible to combine Katanga with Geo3D. Katanga supports Full SBS (side-by-side) format, which is compatible with Geo3D for viewing stereoscopic content. Since VRScreenCap does not work properly on HP Reverb G2, combining Katanga with Geo3D can be an alternative solution to view 3D content on VR headsets.
