They are working to bring it at first to xbox 360 then ps3 and PC

The stereoscopic player is free but then requires shutter glasses

It's able to stream 1080p 3d movies and users can make their own 3d content and upload it to a community video uploading site like youtube which will allow you to watch movie for free and there will be pay to watch movies as well. This is very exciting.

Also if you didn't know SKY tv has demoed SKY HD 3D TV and it uses polarized glasses. But it's more like the sony demonstration where it's just a demo and may come out when people really want it.
