Non VR Head Mounted Displays for 3D Games?

I did a search on this forum for Goovis, with no results. So I am wondering if this device could work with 3D Vision or Helix Vision. It's a head-mounted display using OLED panels with a large virtual screen. It supports side-by-side 3D, among other modes. See link and spec sheet below for the "Goovis Pro" version.

Any clues whether this device could work? I am tempted to buy it on Amazon.

The product is available in amazon. Mine already arrived. However, even though it has side by side, I have not figured out how to make it work. Choosing side by side in the device simply outputs a duplicate of each image in each eye - instead of alternating them. Not sure if the issue is with the device or that I am not setting up 3DFM correctly.

Any feedback?

Curious to see the result on your Goovis with SBS format.

You can try games with native SBS format like Trine or Tomb Raider to test.

Brelyon makes a new type of (very expensive) display claiming VR-like immersion. For more discussion, see viewtopic.php?p=172446#p172446, https://www.cnet.com/google-amp/news/b ... r-headset/, and https://www.digitaltrends.com/computin ... -2022/?amp.

Hello! I can tell you about GOOVIS products. GOOVIS is a head mounted display. The latest model is GOOVIS G3MAX. Featuring a 2.5K * 2 silicon-based OLED screen, supporting PC 1920x1080 120Hz, 2K-4K 60H. When there is a reference object at a distance of 4 meters, it is equivalent to a projection image of 140 inches or more. I can use a Blu ray machine to directly watch ISO3D film sources, but unfortunately, I was unsuccessful in using 3D Vision. I can only play 3D games using GEO-11's HSBS format. The HSBS format has a 3D button above the head display. When the HSBS image is displayed in the head display, simply press the 3D button.
English is not my native language, please understand.
Due to certain reasons, it is not possible to have YuTude. The following is a promotion for the use of GEO11.
