Personal Use Software License Agreement
This license agreement (“Agreement”) governs the use of the software (“Software”) provided to you by Christian Rautenberg ("Licensor"). By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not download, install or use the Software.
License Grant. Licensor grants to you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not use the Software for any commercial purpose.
Restrictions. You may not copy, distribute, re-upload, or link to the Software for any commercial purpose. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software. You may not modify, adapt, translate, rent, lease, lend, sell for profit, or create derivative works based upon the Software or any part thereof.
Ownership. The Software is licensed, not sold, to you by Licensor. The Software is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Licensor retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all copies thereof.
Term and Termination. This Agreement is effective until terminated. You may terminate this Agreement at any time by destroying the Software and all copies thereof. This Agreement will terminate immediately without notice from Licensor if you fail to comply with any provision of this Agreement. Upon termination, you agree to destroy the Software and all copies thereof.
Disclaimer of Warranties. The Software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Licnensor does not warrant that the functions contained in the Software will meet your requirements or that the operation of the Software will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of Liability. In no event will Licensor be liable for any damages, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, arising out of the use of or inability to use the Software, even if Licensor has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
General. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and Licensor with respect to the use of the Software and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the use of the Software. This Agreement may not be modified except in writing signed by both parties.
Addition.This software is intended for private use BY YOU and can be used freely for this purpose. Any commercial use is prohibited without my consent. Furthermore the distribution of this software and modifications is prohibited mainly. Any modifications for your own use is allowed, the publication of any modifications based on the original code is only allowed with my permission. I am NOT responsible for it's use that results in a ban, nor responsible for modified versions and that by using, should any dispute arise, the user agrees to be bound by arbitration that must occur within Germany. As well as, the user is responsible for all fees/out of pocket expenses.
Governing Law. This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the Germany.
Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous negotiations, understandings, and agreements, whether written or oral, between the parties with respect to the subject matter of this Agreement.
By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you acknowledge that you have read this Agreement, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.

Installation
NOTE: Please, if you install a new version over a prev. one, make sure you remove the "Shaderfixes" / "ShaderfixesDM" / "ShaderCacheDM" folder from the game you are going to install the new version!
- get the archive from the attachment here from the post
- Extract the complete archive to the main game directory, e.g.: ...\GAMEINSTALLFOLDER\SOMETHING\Binaries\Win64
- NOTE: Any update for GEO11 later 0.6.56 needs to be placed in ...\ShaderFixes\Geo11 ==> nvapi64.dll and d3d11.dll to be applied! There will not be an frequent update of the UE4-UF2 on each geo11 update!
- start 0000_Start_GEO11.cmd if you want the game uses GEO11 driver, instead of 3D-Vision driver and 3DMigoto. ALSO use this if you manually updated GEO11 dlls in ...\ShaderFixes\Geo11
- start 0000_Start_MIGOTO.cmd if you want the game uses 3D-Vision driver and 3DMigoto.
==> NOTE: Default after installation of of UE4-UF2 9.12 and later is MIGOTO!
Issues Left
- Some clipping in special cases
- you may need to start a game 2-3 times if it crashed WITHOUT any error message or crash
- you may need to press ALT+ENTER and ALT+ENTER again to kick in 3D
- you may need to press ALT+TAB and ALT+TAB again to kick in 3D ==> Often needed for GEO11
- you may need to switch resolution in game to something lower than your native one and back to native to kick in 3D ==> Often needed for GEO11
Game Setup
- up to you but:
- NOTE: Sometimes AA OFF can cause issues like flickering/flashing light details
- NOTE2: Sometimes maxed out AA in game (TAA+ or TAA) can cause "smearing" of things like edges of textures from objects, try lower AA in this case
Keys
- ALL keys are written in the OSD in game, but you can also read DETAILS below for keys and functions FYI how to use and what they are intended for.
- NOTE: F10 can be pressed to apply your current convergence and other settings!
- NOTE2: F10 NEEDS TO BE be pressed to recover your convergence settings chosen any time you restart the game!
IN-GAME-OSD - Functions and Explanations
NOTE: OSD in geo11 is one eyed, you have to go with this, all the OSD in games are one eyed. May be Dave will fix this some times.

General Depth Options
- shows you Separation and Convergence that is currently on set, also gives you options to change convergence, separation or choose some Convergence Presets
- Change Convergence by LCTRL + F5 or F6 - NOTE: You need to enable the advanced keys in the Nvidia Control Panel in the Stereoscopic 3D part of it!
- Change Separation by LCTRL + F3 or F4
- Cycle Convergence Presets DEFAULT = 120. Change by "." or ",", this is game depended as long as you don't use AUTO CONVERGENCE.
- Activate the Low Convergence Preset DEFAULT = OFF. Useful e.g. in cut scenes, if shortly the convergence is too high, up to you to use or not ALT + INSERT

HUD/UI Depth Settings
- HUD/UI [ON/OFF]: DEFAULT = ON. Disable complete HUD/UI by ALT + LCTRL + X. Disable partial HUD/UI by and try only leave crosshair ALT + LCTRL + C -- This also draws things in the middle from the HUD/UI around the crosshair.
- HUD/UI STATIC Depth [XXX %]: DEFAULT = 10 %. Change the general static HUD-Depth by NUMPAD* or NUMPAD/
- HUD/UI AUTO Depth [ON/OFF]: DEFAULT = ON. Enable or Disable by "~" (TILDE), "^" , or XB_GUIDE. The automatic HUD/UI depth that allows you to have Crosshair and other elements into automatic aligned surface depth.
--NOTE: [ON] and [OFF] is self explaining, [AUTO ON]/[AUTO OFF] means its automatically set by the
AUTO HUD/UI DEPTH HANDLING option (NEW in 9.00). If you want it permanent ON or OFF, just use the toggle key to do this to skip the automatic ON/OFF switch or in cases you need it because HUD/UI is still broken in menus and/or annoying with elements in too high depth
GENERAL SIDE NOTE: IF you want get back to the HUD/UI Depth behavior from the UE4-UF2 before 9.00, just disable this and every HUD/UI element is in STATIC Depth, like if you started a game in versions before 9.00
- AUTO HUD Depth Handling [ON/OFF]: DEFAULT = ON. New mechanism introduced in 9.00 for automatic HUD/UI depth handling that tries to detect if the game is in a MENU and than automatically disable the AUTO-DEPTH! Switch with F4
--NOTE: This CAN fail in dependency of the game and than leads to AUTO-DEPTH OFF, e.g. if a large texture is pushed to the scene like blog on screen for example. It also do NOT be 100 % detect menus. The mechanism is texture size based so if large textures are present AUTO-DEPTH will be off, and the other way round. MEANS: If AUTO-DEPTH is NOT off in menus, you cant do anything here than disable it manually if annoying with "~" (TILDE), "^" , or XB_GUIDE. If IN GAME the AUTO-DEPTH switches ON and OFF for moments/situations you don't want it, DISABLE this option. This can be adjusted by me for individual games.
- AUTO Depth OFFSET [XXX %]: DEFAULT = 0 %. Add an offset to the automatic depth that can be + or - in dependency of your likes and the game. Change this with ALT + NUM"*" or NUM"/" if CROSSHAIR is too high or low in depth for you/the game.
--NOTE: AUTO-DEPTH-Crosshair [ALTERNATIVE] Mode may often needs some negative values here, but up to you.
- Depth-Cross. [NORMAL/ALTERNATIVE]: DEFAULT = NORMAL. If the CROSSHAIR or some UI elements are not in right depth, try [ALTERNATIVE]. This happens if some character based things (often like weapons, arms etc.) crossing the middle of the screen on high convergence). The ALTERNATIVE mode is not as accurate like the normal one, but helps you to get an approx. Auto Depth crosshair in games having this foreground issue. Switch mode with ALT + NUMPAD0
- AUTO Cross. ONLY Mode [ON/OFF]: DEFAULT = ON. Introduces in 9.00, that will NOT push any FONT into auto depth, and also no "large" textures. This is game depended! IF Crosshair is NOT in AUTO-DEPTH, turn this of if you need. This mode reduces the broken HUD/UI in menus in a soft way and can be adjusted for individual games my me. Switch with F3
- Adjust AUTO Depth HUD/UI Area: Only available if "AUTO Cross. ONLY Mode" is OFF. ALT + DIRECTION-KEYS defines the range starting from the middle of the screen for any direction of it in that HUD/UI will be pushed in AUTOMATIC depth. If a texture is crossing the defined starting point, it shifts in a way you don't like/want. This settings has to be adjusted game specific if defaults do not match.

GENERAL SIDE NOTE: IF you want get back to the HUD/UI depth behavior from the UE4-UF2 before 9.00, just disable the "AUTO HUD Depth Handling" and "AUTO Cross. ONLY Mode"!

BOTTOM Screen HUD/UI Depth
- Different Depth [ON/OFF]: DEFAULT = OFF. Toggle key is ALT + LCTRL + NUMPAD*.
Depth change by LCTRL + NUMPAD* or NUMPAD/ This enables you to separate the depth from the lower part of the screen (in some area) to be independent of any HUD/UI depth action done any HUD Depth action. This enables you for some games to keep subtitles at a depth you want it. NOTE: The chosen area for this feature may not match 100 % for every game, some game needs more or less area or are, because of elements at the lower screen, not suitable for this to use. This option is disabled by default because of this and available for you to try. In any case of adjustment needed, it you think this is cool in general, just ask me.

Aim Convergence Options
- Aim Conv. Reduction [XXX%/OFF]: DEFAULT = OFF. Adjust depth-reduction for using aiming keys right mouse button or XB_LT change with LCTRL+"." or LCTRL+"," if you want/need.
- Allow for AUTO Conv. [YES/NO]: DEFAULT = YES. If you DON'T want the convergence switch if Auto-Convergence is ENABLED, simply turn this OFF. If YES, while AIMING in Auto-Convergence Mode, AC is off until you release the key!

AUTO Convergence Options
- AUTO Convergence [ON/OFF]: DEFAULT = OFF. Auto Convergence is made for automatic adjust the convergence to the game scene. It may needs some tweaks with the later keys if not suitable. Up to you to use it or not. Its OFFby default. Toggle with LCTRL+NUMPAD+
- MAX. AUTO Conv. Mode [X]: DEFAULT = 6. The higher the mode the more AutoConvergence depth is allowed. Up to you, but Mode 6 should be ok for approx. 2/3 of the games. Change with ALT+NUMPAD4 or ALT+NUMPAD5
- AUTO Conv. FINE TUNE [XXX/OFF]: DEFAULT = OFF. The fine tune option is for games in which one mode is too high for max AC and the next is too low. Choose the mode that AC is too high for you and adjust its max depth by the finetuning option. Cycle with ALT + NUMPAD7 or ALT + NUMPAD8. The percentages shown means REDUCE current max convergence by this percentage. Means 80% is the hardest reduce, 20 % the lowest. Trying to set up suitable setting for you forces you to experiment a bit and moving around and watch different scenes to find the suitable setting for you.
- AUTO Conv. Speed: DEFAULT = FAST. If the transition/change of AutoConvergence is too slow or fast for you Switch speed with ALT+NUMPAD3.
- Instant Conv. Switch [NO/YES]: DEFAULT = NO. An option allows or disallow instant convergence switches using auto convergence. This can be annoying or usefull, its game dependend. Switch with ALT+NUMPAD6.
- AutoConvergence OFFSET [15-200%]: DEFAULT = 100% This is some option to raise or lower general convergence in AC mode, this can be used for adjust AC to your likes if you want it a bit higher or lower in general. Change with ALT+F5 / F6.

Effect Toggle Options
- On Screen Mud/Bloom [ON/OFF]: DEFAULT = ON. Disable/Enable bloom/light glow and some on screen lens mud/sparkles/effects that can be annoying. Up to you to turn it off, LCTRL+NUMPAD1.
- Lens Flares [ON/OFF]: DEFAULT = OFF. Lens Flares often being annoying. Up to you to turn it on, LCTRL+NUMPAD2.
- Sharpen / Reduce Blure [OFF-100%]: DEFAULT = 25%. This reduces motion blur and give sharpens the scene by the raise of grizzly textures LCTRL+NUMPAD3.

Trouble Shooting Options
- AO FIX [OFF/Mode-1/Mode-2]: DEFAULT = OFF. May its not cool for every game, can solve issue with AO/AO-Shadows. Mode-1 may help in some games, if not choose Mode-2, but go with some what some darker overall scene. Switch this with LCTRL+NUMPAD5
- Alternative Point-Light FIX [ON/OFF]: DEFAULT = OFF. Only one game I have seen needs this, so this is an option that is OK for 99 % of the games at OFF. In any case of LIGHT/SHADOW issues, try if ENABLE this option will make a change. IF NOT, keep it disabled. LCTRL+NUMPAD8

UE4-Engine 4.27 Options
- Cloud Reflection [ON/OFF]: DEFAULT = OFF. Enable this if you want full reflections of clouds in water in UE4 games having engine 4.27.X.X. Up to you to try. OFF is OK, ON has issues. LCTRL+NUMPAD0

This Agreement will terminate immediately without notice from Licensor if you fail to comply with any provision of this Agreement. Upon termination, you agree to destroy the Software and all copies thereof.
Disclaimer of Warranties. The Software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Licnensor does not warrant that the functions contained in the Software will meet your requirements or that the operation of the Software will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of Liability. In no event will Licensor be liable for any damages, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, arising out of the use of or inability to use the Software, even if Licensor has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
General. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and Licensor with respect to the use of the Software and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the use of the Software. This Agreement may not be modified except in writing signed by both parties.
Addition.This software is intended for private use BY YOU and can be used freely for this purpose. Any commercial use is prohibited without my consent. Furthermore the distribution of this software and modifications is prohibited mainly. Any modifications for your own use is allowed, the publication of any modifications based on the original code is only allowed with my permission. I am NOT responsible for it's use that results in a ban, nor responsible for modified versions and that by using, should any dispute arise, the user agrees to be bound by arbitration that must occur within Germany. As well as, the user is responsible for all fees/out of pocket expenses.
Governing Law. This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the Germany.
Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous negotiations, understandings, and agreements, whether written or oral, between the parties with respect to the subject matter of this Agreement.
By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you acknowledge that you have read this Agreement, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
