how to get rid of the red nvidia 3dvision warning message??

hi ,

i have a 3080 laptop with the newest driver connected to optoma hd29hlv with inf edid to otm3032

3dvideos and directx9 games work fine but i can not get rid of the warning message with 3dfixmanager .i untick the box "enable nvidia 3d driver overlay" ,restart the system,but the message remains

any ideas ?

I know I have the details here backed up but can't find it, it was a pretty involved mod, that really just resulted in changing 2 dll's from the Nvidia install path. I made back-ups of my modified dll's that I use every time I reinstall so I figure they should work for you.

Before using it, I would make a back-up of the 2 dll's in a separate folder so you can undo the changes if necessary. In your Nvidia folder, locate "nvstres.dll and nvstres64.dll" those are the two files to be replaced. Back those up and replace with the ones in this zip. https://www.dropbox.com/s/wgrjiar2la980m2/dlls.zip?dl=0

I'll look for the details on how I had to mod those and post if I can locate. Hope this helps

i replaced the dlls ,but there is no change .I replaced them even in 3dfixmanager folder ,unticked and ticked ,restart ,no luck

the fix doesnt work anymore sadly ,your modified file had already the black bitmap 201 icon in it

Only dx9, OpenGL and Vulkan fixes work with a driver that supports a RTX 3XXX GPU. For dx11, there is currently, no known work around/driver hack.

I just tried the new driver version 456.38 supporting the new RTX 3000 series cards and so far I wasn't able to get DX11 games to work. DX9 games still work.

The global driver hack does not work any more - 3DFM can't find find Schwing's hex pattern any more which has to be replaced in nvwgf2um(x).dll. Local driver hack therefore also does not work any more. No crash however when starting DX11 games without the hack. No 3D. Neither 3D Vision nor anaglyph.

Thank you for your time and answer ,but i knew about the issue since last year with the new drivers for the 30xxx series .

but my main concern and question is like the title say " how to get rid of the red warning message " after all for the directx9 games und 3d movies

You need to edit the correct dll, depending on the driver version there may also be a 32 bit DLL, you want the 64 bit DLL

This time with the right dll version it worked

i used resource hacker as a free tool and allowed user permission to overrite the file
