On the Drivers and Downloads tab you can download documentation, I'm just checking out the quickstart guide and it lists "Generic 3D Ready DLP HDTV" as supported.

thanks did see or even open that I am on the phone with the Nvidia customer care at the HQ trying to get a answer as well.

I figured it would as all other glasses including the tri-def ones i been using works on either...

but what about 64 bit driver now?

last time i attempted this in vista 64 i used 64 bit driver for the geforce and and 32 bit 3D driver and they played ok but not sure if its enough to activate the product...

so even if they do work with the samsung dlp's they should list it just as they did the Mitsubishi and make this easy on the customers, would not have to even question...

**UPDATE **
Nvidia said they will try to add the "Generic 3D DLP" to the website and said sorry for the confusion...

A HQ Customer Rep. will be calling me back within the hour to see if the new 64 BIT geforce drivers and the 32 BIT 3D drivers as a combo is enough to activate the 3D support in Vista 64....

but in the mean time since HQ and Xerion both confirmed the 3D ready for sure via the PDF ....

Order Date: 1/8/2009
Order Number: 37342****
Order Total: $217.48
The charge(s) will appear on your credit card as "DRI*Nvidia".

Finally i can throw away my dorky looking tridef glasses and get ones that recharge and more comfortable !!!!

the tridef glasses no more 6 dollar battery's, no more 3D driver on game per game basis form tridef, and the shutter panel on the glasses is like 2.5x bigger then the little squares i get form tridef...

worth every penny! L4D in 3D here i come!!!!!

man next week is great these come in to play with and as well as my new embody chair from herman miller in white on white

I would take a leap of faith and order the glasses now, if I could, but I'm in Europe :/

The nvidia store seems to be US/Canada only. The european country sites don't have it, and the order form from the US nvidia store won't let you choose anything but US and Canada.

The driver most probably checks for the glasses and is locked to the NVIDIA glasses only. So NVIDIA will probably post updated driver on the website soon, but we won't be able to use it anyways without buying the NVIDIA glasses.

But it seems like it is not locked to display type -- the website says old analog CRT monitor with >=100Hz refresh is supported! I bet it will work on new Viewsonic S3D projector too.

So for all the old timers mad at NVIDIA taking away shutter support on CRT --NVIDIA is finally bringing it back; it just wants us to pay. (That's not too unreasonable by itself, but $200 is IMO $50-$100 too expensive, and NVIDIA could have communicated its intentions clearly during the 2 years when it didn't update old drivers.)

I guess when you run a department for 2 years that doesn't create anything you need to make your money back

I sent E-mail to Viewsonic and they said the 120hz monitor is coming in June to europe. So same time as Samsung's model :/

Can someone post the drivers somewere...? It think the reason they are not public is because they might work with other shutterglasses

That's very unlikely because the new glasses probably work through usb. The NVIDIA driver probably detects if the pyramid base is plugged and only activates the shutterglasses mode if it it.

Please, please as soon as anyone has the kit, post the CD ISO/drivers.

(Regardless whether they're locked to the base or not..)

Also, I'm sure a lot of people are keen to know if these (despite stating 100hz+ only) will actually work with 85hz DLP (stereo capable) projectors. Either with the nvidia glasses, or with others.

If anyone finds out anything about this please post here!
