Reading F16-F24 keys?

Hello there! Been using PIE stuff since the days of GlovePIE, first time posting here on the FreePIE forums. I was wondering if there is any way to read F keys after F15 in FreePIE (F16-F24), as it would be extremely useful for me to have a few "unused" keys that almost no other software reacts to, for use within FreePIE (I know that there's F13-F15 but I need more than three "unused" keys).

The only topics on the matter I found were from 2013 (viewtopic.php?t=18420 and viewtopic.php?t=18434), and they're about emulating these keys rather than reading them, so I'm not sure if there's something to be done or if it's a lost cause and I should look for an alternative to "keys that no program will react to".
