Sniper Elite 4 - 85% off on steam atm

Just a heads up. I just grabbed the deluxe edition of Sniper Elite 4 on steam. Normal listed price for me was $129.95 AUD (ridiculous TBH), but got it for $19.49 AUD in the current sale. This includes all DLC.

This game looks perfect in 3D with the fix (via 3DFixManager - what a great piece of software - eliminate your stress and let 3DFixManager manage your 3D Fixes) and runs fantastically. I have everything up to the max and 150% resolution scaling (to cater for my 3DTVPlay 720p).

Yeah, I didn't see it on the site either but found some old forum post mentioning that there was a W.I.P fix that was added to 3dfixManager. It might be a W.I.P (never to be completed) fix, but as far as I can tell, its as good as finished. Maybe the odd visual anomaly, but nothing major really.

I usually never bothered with 3dfixmanager.. I always thought myself clever enough to do this stuff manually. I had already patched my driver for 3D support and had it running fine in 3D as far as I could tell. But I had issues getting Wreckfest and ACC running in 3D (I am on driver 452.06) . They would always produce some error on startup. So I thought, lets see what 3DFixManager does for us. And low and behold.. it fixed my issues.. So, as I say.. save yourself the hassle and just use 3DFixManager.

Hey guys, I've difficulties with that profile. The screen goes black once I trigger 3D (Alt+T). I trigger back to 2D, the screen appears, 3D --> black. So doing it several times in a row doesn't help. Any ideas? BTW, I'm on "Checkerboard HDMI" in NVCP. I played GTA V with this yesterday with 1080p@60 just fine.

Sorry for the off-topic, but I never tried Checkboard HDMI. Does it look better than Top / Bottom or Side by Side ?

This is merely a setting in Nvidia Control Panel for Stereoscopic mode. My understanding is that this setting is needed to trick Nvidia in releasing 1080p@60Hz. Otherwise (with "3D TV Play" setting) it's limited to 720p@60Hz or 1080p@30Hz max. The output is SBS or TP, then. Please corrct me if I'm wrong, though, I'm a relative newbie in terms of 3D Vision.

I bought this game when it came out. It was the only game with 3D on the PS4. This game was also 3D ready for PC. Did it really need a fix?

As far as I remember, it had a Nvidia compatibility profile, which doesn't really qualify.
However it did support HD3D, which really doesn't count for us, now does it!

I could be wrong in that case. I did play it in 3D on a PS4. Anyway, thank you for the clarification.

Does anyone have the fix for this? 3DFM doesn't download the fix for me and the link I found on the forum: https://s3.amazonaws.com/4everAwake/WIP ... lite_4.zip throws "Access Denied".
