HDMI Checkerboard problem with Dx11 games

On my LG passive 3d TV, I've been using an option in the Nvidia Control Panel for what is calls HDMI Checkerboard.

As long as the game is fullscreen it goes to 3d mode automatically and it works really well at 1080p with much less input lag then running with the 3dtv play option at 720p60hz. I believe 3dtv play is frame sequential mode.

Anyway HDMI Checkerboard works great with every 3dvision compatible or fixed game I've tried, except it won't work with Dx11 games. They usually show up as black screen with a triangle chunk that is visible.
Is there a way to get HDMI Checkerboard to work with Dx11 games? Or should I try to use a hacked .inf file for passive LG screens that I have read about?

I really like how good the HDMI checkerboard looks at 1080p and the lack of lag. It is pretty much the perfect solution for my LG if it wasn't for the Dx11 games.

I just had a thought about this, I wonder if its a windows 10 thing. Although 3Dvision seems to work for DX11 games fine if I use the 3Dtv play option and play at 720p@60. I think the computer connected to the LG tv is probably on win 10 1903.
Does anybody know if Win7,8,old win10 work with DX11 with the HDMI checkerboard option? I'd happily install an olderOS and block updates if it means that HDMI Checkerboard works with DX11 games.

Why not try using EDID override instead (with EyeSwapper app), assuming it is a 4K passive LG TV - see https://www.mtbs3d.com/phpBB/viewtopic. ... 81&t=23437? I believe this override version works for non-OLED LG models also. This override will require more PC processing capability, but the increased resolution is worth it, in my opinion...
