Tridef and new Steam chat issue

When trying to play say Left4Dead2 in Tridef it won't load the new Steam chat thus pretty much operating in offline mode.
Anyone know a fix?
I'd ask in the Tridef Discord if the invite worked.
Thanks to anyone who has a solution.

It seems like the issue you're experiencing with Tridef and the new Steam chat is causing the game to operate in offline mode.
