Heart Rate from Mi Band to Ableton using FreePie and LoopBe?

Hi all!

I'm a musician and I'm trying to create a live sonification for a piece that exposes climate change.
My intention is to use the Heart Rate information from the wristwatch MiBand 2 as midi information to be processed through Ableton Live.
After reading all that I could I found people using the Wiimote through GlovePie and LoopBe on Ableton.
I found as well a Java Script code for MiBand to test functions

And now I found FreePie and this forum.

As I know nothing about coding I tried to work with a friend, but he is way to busy and could not follow with the project.

My questions are the following:
*Do you think it's possible to use my MiBand with FreePie to send the heart rate information to Loopbe?
*Is the JS code useful for this purpose?

Any ideas on how to continue?
