That's pretty cold, obviously things have changed with the dev team if it's life or their interest in working on a free project. A better question might be is there anything needed to help get the next update pushed out?

It's not dead but recently the work is mostly being done by a single programmer. He's going as fast as he can.
You can take a look at the commits and statistics of the people working on it here :

Thanks for the info. It would just be nice to get an update every now and then, otherwise people will completely lose interest in the project. Hopefully we get a new release soon

I think EisernSchild has certainly been doing what he can. He at least responded to some questions I had about whether the project was still being worked on some months ago, and considering that he has his own life going on and he's currently working on this project alone, I think he deserves some admiration for sticking with it.

here here, I second that. I hope he isn't disparaged looking at negative comments.Jackofblaze wrote:I think EisernSchild has certainly been doing what he can. Hi Guys !
Sorry for always answering very late. Truth is that i had plenty of (private) troubles in spring. But now (eventually) the driver is basically finished and i'm going to create different profiles.
I know that week after week did drop but now we are really really close to release.
Cheers and thx for your patience, Denis

Re: where is the dev team? Is this Project DEAD?
So....is there going to be a full release of Vireio Perception 4?
I'm only seeing an Alpha 3 release from 2016.
The dev responded that it was almost done 6 months ago, and I'm not seeing any recent commits.
