PSVR / Trinus / Vive Tracker

Hi,
I've been playing with TrinusPSVR and PSMoveService to get some rough positional tracking but it's a bit glitchy and a hassle to set up everytime.
I managed to pick up a Vive Pre lighthouse / wand set for £100 from ebay which I think was a good deal. From there, I had the idea of using a Vive Tracker to get the positional tracking seeing as I have the lighthouses anyway and should be better than the pseye method.
So, I'm thinking - get the positional data from the vive tracker using python, feed that into FreePIE and then FreePIE should automatigally feed that into TrinusVR using the PSMoveFreePIE bridge that already exists. Sound feasible?
