Hi, I dont know much about vireio perception, i know that is a 3d driver, but i still not figure if vireio is for oculus/htc users, diy hmds, or both. I had made a 1440p diy hmd with a vr box case, so for the pc my hmd is just another monitor in windows with 2560x1440 resolution. For now I using iz3d driver, any game which use dx 10 or 9 works with that.

My main question is.

Can i use vireio as iz3d driver, that is i just need active the vireio and any game will start side by side in my hmd monitor, or that driver needs some more specific stuff?

thanks

Vireio Pereception is a 3d/HMD Injector..

The Simple Explanation
It intercepts the Direct3D calls and massages and redirects it to your HMD...
It also uses Memory Addresses to inject HMD motion control into the game (Basically the HMD controlling the Camera of the game)

Hi davi 2686 !

Hstreet already explained Vireio very well, have nothing to add.

With Vireio v4 alpha 3 (latest release) you should be able to play any known Dx11 game in a virtual cinema room for all supported HMDs. With the eventual relase (coming soon) you should also be able to play Dx9 games in the virtual cinema. And you also should be able to play on monitor side-by-side for any Dx9 and Dx11 game.

Regards, Denis

Hi Masterke1971 !

We do not have those kewl vr living rooms like "bigscreen" has. BUT in the Vireio Cinema you can eventually play games in stereo, not in mono like in "bigscreen".
