Line of Sight Lightgun possible with a Wiimote?

Hey Guys,
yesterday i took a closer look at all the Lightgun Systems which are on the market at the moment and saw that Aimtrak and EMS Gun III actually use the same hardware as a Wiimote.
Is it possible to make a script in FreePie to let calibrate the Wiimote in the same way?
I can remember a program called wiimote whiteboard, it works the opposite way actually as you calibrate it with an IR-Pen in every corner of your (virtual) display directly on a wall/surface and then you have a touchable whiteboard. The mouse jumps directly to the position you point at.
I was using GlovePie some time ago but unfortunately it's more or less down and so i found FreePie but I'm not a programmer so it's very difficult for me. Maybe here is somebody who can help me.
