Does perception work on Nvidia Cg Shader games?

Post by YSYou »

I am trying Perception on League of Legends recently.

After added an entry in profile.xml, I could see the sidebyside game play.
But the left, right image are the same.
I changed the stereo separation manually, but two images were still the same.

After I applied shader scan on VP menu.
I saw black game play when I restarted the game.
The generated shader rule xml contains 30~40 rules.

I know the League of Legends uses Cg instead of hlsl.
Is the problem caused by Cg?

Hi YSYou !

Please note that your question regards Vireio Perception v3, we did now split and create a new forum section for the new Version 4. Vireio v4 does not support DX9 (LOL) yet but maybe end of june we have that finished and i will do anything to create a good LOL-profile then (since my sister and brothers play that one day and night ;-) )

Cq or HLSL makes no difference for Vireio but for v3 of the driver you need to create a shader rule xml file to aim for the right shader constant matrices beeing modified by the driver.

Thanks for your reply.

My problem happened on v4. That's why I post here.
So, I should use v3 instead of v4, right?

Vireio v4 still implements Vireio v3 functionality due to backwards compatibility. So it does in case make no difference if you use v3 or v4, it is still v3 functionality and you have to create a shader rule file for this game to have stereo separation.
