Trick for have migoto/helix on side by side on any HDMI connected display

Hay, I have recently acquired an OSVR for replacement for my deadly (peace for his soul) HMZ-t1.

I’ll be confronted to the absence of 3DTV support and raged on the impossibility to use helix/migoto with tridef.

So I find little dirty trick for have SBS and migoto on my HMD

First you need to download stereoscopic player, nanocosmos Live Video Encoder and perhaps an EDID if your screen is not whitelisted by NVIDIA ( Like this one functional with OSVR vanilla find here)

Install all that stuff and activate 3D in NVIDIA control panel.

Open “Screen resolution” by right click on your desktop and verify you have activate 3D for all displays (W8/10).

In stereoscopic player select “live video/nanocosmos…”

If you have not buy the software the picture is blurry but you can have full resolution by select region absolute in module properties.

Define the good layout depend of your screen/EDID and select “Side by Side for 3DTV’s”

You have now real-time SBS conversion of the content of your screen.

I expect you find this util.

NOTE: some game make other screen black when you launch it, launch it borderless or widowed for trick.
