Hi guys, I have another thread on here about Wii scripting, I have got to a point where I feel like I can take some requests for people, to further my skill and the Wii scripting development.

So if there is any sort of Wii script you would like let me know and I will do my very best for you, let's get these wiimotes set right :)

Hello rizzenwsv, I wonder if you could do the following:
- Port konstantin_lozev's driftless pitch wiimote GlovePIE script to FreePIE
- Implement lednerg's solution for having both Wii MotionPlus & IR Mouse script into the above script. Specifically, I'd like you to having the optional IR calibration portion of that script implemented into konstantin's script.

That way one could use the final script for headtracking in VR applications, using the Motion+, however, it would also be possible to recenter the tracking on the fly, without pressing any buttons, simply by looking towards the IR Sensor.

My driftless pitch script on GlovePIE is quite old, actually, I may update it towards the end of the year. That being said, there are better alorithms already with much more robust results, mine is really a trial and error (see http://www.x-io.co.uk/open-source-imu-a ... lgorithms/), which I was not able to implement in my GlovePIE script due to the limitations of the GlovePIE scripting (or my limited knowledge of the GlovePIE API). So yeah, I think a top priority would be implementing Magwick's sensor fusion in Python in FreePIE. On the calibration with the IR bar, I am not so optimistic, since FreePIE does not (last time I checked) yet support the tracking of the IR LEDs on the IR bar.

If you know C++ you can add it yourself. I would appriceate it anyway :P

Hi, CyberVillain, long time no see, I have drifted a bit away from FreePIE/GlovePIE for the past few months like a gyro without a magnetometer :)))
My C++ is very limited now, but can pick it up once I get other experiments sorted out.

We use this library which is based on the bluetooth stack from Dolphimote emulator, its written by my brother. I have given up on getting his help completing full support for Wiimote so if anyone wants to finnish what he started feel free to poke around there

OP I know this is an old thread, but if you are still inclined for some Wii scripting perhaps you could help me with my quest for a Wii Air Mouse script? I am willing to pay to get this done!
