New release from tridef/ddd:
"Hi all,

Thanks for your support of TriDef 3D. Here's a new beta version of Ignition. As usual this can be installed on top of an existing TriDef 3D installation (OEM or retail), but please be aware that beta versions are not fully tested.

This Beta fixes an issue that caused DX11 games to crash when launched through Steam (since a recent Steam update). This issue was caused by a conflict between TriDef 3D Ignition's game interception and Steam's new rendering technique for game overlays.

Previously, after pressing Shift-Tab to display the Steam overlay it was impossible to interact with the overlay, and impossible to close it. This Beta resolves that issue too, so Steam overlays now work correctly (for all games we've tested so far, including DX9 and DX11 games).

We've also received reports from users attempting to create profiles that Igntion's hotkeys don't work for some games (ie, NUMPAD 0 does not bring up the OSD, so it's impossible to create a profile). Here's an alternative version of the Generic profile that should resolve this issue in most cases.

Double click the profile to install it, then right-click a game icon and select this profile from the list. Please note that if the "TriDef 3D Ignition" text does not appear when launching a game, then that's an interception issue, so this wouldn't help in that case.

We also plan to open up many advanced game profile creation options in the near future."

Thanks Earmack!

It's kinda funny: On the nvidia forums people periodically say that there is no longer any tridef support.
Maybe some are mixed up between nvidias 3d-vision support and tridefs... Idk.

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of building a new AMD-Rig for my old and trusted Zalman 3D - Interlaced Monitor.
Atm I still run my NVIDIA 3D drivers and I like them. :polarized

I just wanted to ask you Guys, why there is so little traffic here about DDD drivers. Do they work without complaints, so there is no need to talk about them?
Or do they get so little updates and little support so people don't use them at all?

I'm sorry I didn't turn in here more often in the last years, but NV-Drivers just work good (mostly) and I don't need special advice. And used my time for gaming. For that reason I'm not well informed

Greetings from Germany :)

EDIT:
wow my specs are old... atm it's i3 with GTX 760

It's not just the DDD drivers, there's not much talk about stereo 3D gaming in general anymore.

All the hype is around VR these days. I mean 3D is still alive, and people use it, but just not much discussion. Not sure why, I still think it's cool.

Hi Guys!

I'd actually like to revisit 3D again. I recently installed a Panasonic 1080P 3D Projector. I've got a good center table. Mix with with a wirleess keyboard and mouse with my surround sound speakers....hehehehehe.

I want a solid Fallout 4 profile, though. Is it available?

Regards,
Neil

Still happy User TRIDEF Drivers... May be Stereo 3D Gaming on Monitors is now declining trend. :(
