DK2 - problems in extended mode and also VorpX--help someone

Hi guys. My DK2 works perfectly and I can play demos in both extended and direct mode. In extended mode, however, before I launch a game, my desktop is just really zoomed in and all over the place. Very, very messy...how can I fix the desktop to fit the screen? I have tried everything, resolution 1920X1080, portrait, primary display etc....
I also cant get Vorpx to load any games that fit my DK2. They do load, but also look like the way my desktop does in extended mode...zoomed in on both corners of the screen and then cross over when I open both my eyes in the DK2, it is horrible.
Does anyone know what I am talking about>? Can someone please help me....please...
