Controller for dual HMD Display

Hey guys!
I'm venturing out of longterm lurking after the success of a DIY android Rift.
How do I go about handling for instance side-by-side 3D video and outputting to two displays like the InfintEye?
I have screens that can display full HD and graphics card that supports dual-monitors but how would I make the dual display function in an external logic controller board for a portable rig?
