Here's a new beta version of Ignition. As usual this can be installed on top of an existing TriDef 3D installation (OEM or retail), but please be aware that beta versions are not fully tested.

Changes:
- Fixed DX10/11 3D in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier, World of Warcraft, and Just Cause 2.

I can't get Tridef to recognize my Rift.

I have an AMD laptop with HDMI out to the rift (no DVI available). Everything else Rifty works.

I have the beta driver loaded and I see 3.7.7 beta when I go to Help.

On TriDef 3D Control Panel, I don't see Oculus or Rift under Manufacturer. With Standard Display Types selected, Model doesn't include anything Rift related. 3D Display Location only lists my AMD adapter, regardless of whether my Rift is in extended desktop or clone mode.

Any help?

Looks like beta 2 was my problem.

According to Tridef:
Yes that would be the problem. 3.7.7 Beta 2 is a general release and does not include 'experimental' Oculus Rift display profiles. As you can't install Beta 1 on top of Beta 2 you will need to 'Uninstall All TriDef 3D Software' (from 'Start Menu' -> 'TriDef 3D'), then reinstall 'TriDef 3D 5.10', and then 'TriDef 3D Ignition 3.7.7 Beta 1' on top. If you really want you can then install Beta 2 on top of this (and you won't lose Oculus Rift support if you do) but as Beta 2 wasn't intended for use with the Rift I wouldn't recommend it (ie Rift support may be less stable than with Beta 1).

I hope this doesn't mean they are stopping Rift support. That would be such a tease.

That wasn't my take away. Just that Beta 2 updated non-Rift things and if not layered upon Beta 1, it wouldn't add Rift support to 5.10.
