Optoma HD600x and Nvidia 3D Vision

Post by mapomme1108 »

Hello,

First, I'm french, sorry if my English is not perfect

I'm new to stereoscopic 3D :)

I have a Optoma HD600x projector (which is not 3D Vision Ready) and a Asus N53SN with Nvidia GeForce 550M.

I would like to use Nvidia 3D Vision for gaming and movies.
I know it is possible to plug the Optoma on my laptop and make it "think" it is
a 3D Vision Ready projector and to emulate a fake 3D Vision transmitter.

What I would like to know is what kind of 3D glasses do you use then and how do you synchronized them to the computer or projector?

I hope it is not a too much silly question

Thanks per Advanced for your answer

Well you can buy any DLP-Link glasses and they will sync with the projector once you put it into 3D mode. You can find them on eBay for around $30-40.

The more difficult aspect is getting software to work properly, good luck.

hello

i have problems installing the software

Here is what I did :

1 - uninstall the official Nvidia driver for my GeForce GT550M
2 - Install DSFx64Runtime.msi
3 - run init_x64.bat
4 - run enablastereo.bat
> windows try to install two drivers
1st one : I think it is the EHCI controller and the install from windows update succeed : I don't know if it's good
2nd one : this is the GenericHID device = Nvidia 3D Vision Controller :
the install from windows update fails but I can't install it manually
because I have no prompt that permit me to browse for the correct files.
And when I run this : nvUSBInst.exe /install /srcdir=dir, it runs
but there is the same problem with controller in the Periperal manager : it is not installed

Can someone please help me?
