I finally picked one up with this deal.

Yes, it definitely feels like they are selling out the last stock of the Hydra as fast as possible.

It smells like a new Hydra is coming. (wishful thinking perhaps)

I ordered mine during the 50% off sale, got an email saying my order had shipped on April 2nd (to Canada). I'm still waiting for it, I hope it didn't get lost in the mail.

I would contact Fedex. I orded mine on april 13th, with the 50% off deal. They said it would take 1-2 weeks to ship because of back order. Few days later I got an email with tracking info and it arrived on the 18th of April.

I am in Canada as well.

Been waiting for another deal in the price range and got mine. I don't know why I got the 2-day shipping. I think subconsciously, my brain thought it would make my rift come sooner. At least, I can hold the hydra and pretend

*sigh... I just bought one for $30 more last night. :\ May get a 2nd one because of this.

they better get a new Hydra tech soon, before Oculus VR develop its own and better one!!!

It does feel suspicious. I was about to buy the Hydra from a cheap store here in Sweden a few weeks back, but their order system was broken and I forgot to check back. Now the Hydra is only available in two stores (on Prisjakt) and only in stock in one of them, and available for $175. Previously (10 days ago) plenty of stores had them and the price range was much lower.
Perhapssible Sixsense is working up a deal with Oculus for the next version? I would love to have OVR-branded hydras, and they could have a single base unit for both the hand units and the HMD! Ok, enough speculation and it will obviously happen... for sure, of course, naturally.

Yeah me too, turns out DHL have had the damn thing for nearly 2 weeks and haven't been able to find my apartment or contact me in any way. I only realised when I contacted Razer and they gave me the tracking number. I should have it Friday.

Should I get a second Hydra, or wait for a newer technology?

Was really bummed i missed this deal since i didnt have the funds in april BUT hydra is still doing the 50% off through the website till may 31st.

xhonzi, you're hurting my wallet. First the hydra, now all the game! Thanks though, I wanted to get a legit copy of HF2 for the mods and portal 2 for the hydra

Does anyone have a decent list of supported software for the Hydra?

I'm having a devil of a time trying to find one.
