Some people are toying and are probably putting false informations on the sheet. I don't think any people that ordered the rift in december have received it ;-)

They have ordered them on kickstarter, as unassambled kit, they were sent out as a priority. As it was promised during kickstarter. There is nothing unfair in this situation.

There were only 100 of those available and from memory they went long before December?

Yes, the "unassembled kits" (Although all are now assembled) have been getting priority, but no - apart from only a few cases (like notch from minecraft who got his miid feb), rifts only started getting delivered end of march.

The unassembled kits had long gone before I ordered the first week in August, I wanted to get one but missed out while I foolishly assessed my finances (read that as - began the elaborate process of making it seem, to my wife, like a wise purchase). I'd have thought the priority just lies in the fact they are all low order numbers?
my order number is around 6000, and still "ready" for shipping to the UK.
At least we have the SDK and some useful feedback from others that have got theirs to tide things over for now. The delay means I might actually have something of my own ready to look at by the time it finally turns up :p

Unassembled though is now almost a pre Kickstarter pre-order term as all Rifts are now being sent out assembled.

UK, order no. 540, also just got DHL shipping notification via email.

I may have flailed about a little when I opened it. :D

Still no tracking number on the Oculus order tracking page, but there is one in the email.

EDIT: Appears to be shipping from CA USA, not a European address. Guess it's not one of the fulfillment centre orders, so looking forward to some nice import taxes.

So since the shipping emails are from DHL, does this mean potentially less total delivery cost (import tax, fees etc.) than UPS?

Hoping it'll also mean a different method of paying any fees. Apparently UPS do a COD thing where you have to pay cash/cheque at the door to get the package, which didn't sound like an appealing prospect. Would much prefer paying online.

I filled out the form that's linked at the top of the spreadsheet. Is that the current way of editing it? Seems that very few of the entries in the Form Responses tab have been entered (or just haven't been highlighted green).

Just read on DHL.com:

"DHL EXPRESS WORLDWIDE (nondoc), your shipments can clear customs while still in the air enabling delivery by the end of the next possible business day, saving you time and money."

I think these delivieries will be fast. I would be surprised if cutoms screwed it up for me.

BTW. Probably a minor thing. But on DHL's website I didn't see my company's name on the adress (ordered it privately but to my company's adress as I'm there most often during the day). It's still on the Oculus shipping status page, so I guess it's still somewhere on the package and otherwise DHL will call?

Came here to say that too, order #007 to the UK (I feel like Oculus is Q sending me a new gadget) just got my DHL-US delivery tracking email "sent by ERIK FERNANDEZ of EXPRESS POSTAL OPTIONS" made it sound a bit like a scam email at first though (I had a fake dhl tracking scam email that tried to install a virus when you click the tracking link about a month ago, got way too excited about it being the Rift then) but everything checks out this time :) !

if you mean me (Order Nr. 21121) i did not marked it as arrived.
The last time i looked on this page there were huge parts overwritten and apparently maliciously edited.
also there are a few more in my OrderNr range who also have the arrived flag.
Updated my info, waiting for approval.
Others should check their correct status too.

So DHL tracking email went out last night, and the tracking has just updated to show:
10. Arrived at Sort Facility EAST MIDLANDS - UK
11. Clearance processing complete at EAST MIDLANDS - UK
...that was quick. Awesome :D

Edit: looking at the update times, which seem to be adjusted for the time zone they're concerned with, it took about 20 hours from pickup to arrival in the UK.

Maybe it is because my last name beginns with a 'Z'
