Wow.....lumping amazing. A prequel to a 1939 classic. I got to see Oz: The Great and Powerful in 3D and with Dbox seating. Dbox seating is the moving, vibrating, thumping and swaying seat's. The 3D is native 3D and not converted. The 3D is on the very good side. The 3D and the Dbox seats were a kick ass combo for this film. There's quite a few scenes that momentarily feel like a theme park ride. Now I do feel the theme park ride feel is a bonus for this film. And made for an enjoyable 130 minutes.
Chief's score card:
Story: 9
Special Effects: 9.5
Music: 9.5
3D: 8.25-8.5
Kids/Adult Movie: Yes, but the flying monkeys may scare kids under 5.
Dbox seating: 8
A very immersive Final Score: 8.75
Cheers

I agree with the quality of this movie. I rented it from the PlayStation Store on my PS3, summer 2014. I thought it was very good acting, theme and story.
