For new players wondering why VR hadn't taken off yet, rubbish like the dope "martian goggles" is why.

Do you guys think we should have reputation buttons? For every post a uses puts up, you can vote if you consider it positive or negative.

Over time, it can be useful feedback for people if they might need to change their tone or perspective and a really effective way of identifying troll?

Some forums have a "kudos" button. I wonder if they have a plug-in for that, could be fun.

I think that is a terrible idea. If a post breaks the rules it should be removed by the mods. If does not, it should be left in place, even if some people don't like it.

Mods are the worst thing about many forums.

Hopefully the BanHammer drops on MarshawnMan- an honest opinion site is really no place for company shills.

What are we going to do without a forum clown? Luckily I have my own private clown, who never posts on this forum but keeps sending me private messages.

Advertising is ok. Deceptive or uninformed advertising is not. :)

Ok the product and advertising tactics were pretty lowgrade, but you can't deny that DOOOPPPEEE is a pretty neat catchphrase :P

MarshawnMan wrote:Hey guys I found this site called - DigitalMartians.com about last week on a rap forum..Im usually active on... Itsbx to be more precise.. lol.. But anyway I ordered the MartianVision Martian Goggles - 62" glasses with 4gb of INTERNAL memory about 5 days ago! They just came in and are sick AF!! Not only can I hook these boys up and smash you fools in 2k or Call of Duty even more but I can even upload a few of my favorite media files right to glasses yo!! Doopee!! And these are only $300!... Where the hell have these guys been!! Thank god for the Internet yo! Rt! Spread the friggin news!! Affordable Virtual Reality is Finally Here -- DigitalMartians.com !! Hallelujah!!
I really don't see how that thing can help you "smash fools even more" in COD, especially if you are a sniper.

That reminds me of the HMD I bought in 04, which had an 800x600 res, 26 degree FOV, 70" at 13' (I-glasses PC/SVGA). If you are playing an FPS to actually compete, you will lose to those with large high res monitors; situational awareness wins. At least the price has come down and they have slapped a couple GB of memory in these types of things.

I guess the good thing is that you bought it and it makes you happy.
