Sooo ATI or nVidia ??

I have 300$ and want a graphic card to finally play real s-3D games..
the problem is I have LG 42pw350 3D TV which is only supported by nvidia cards,friend of mine told me that tri-def will work fine with that tv so go for 7950 which is stronger than 660ti.
Any help with that problem ?

The TV is 3dtv plasma and has 2 active shutter-glass
input: 1.4a HDMI

PC:
intell i5 3470
Ram 2*4G corsair vengeance
Gigabyte H77-D3H
HEC 500 watt PSU

You can use AMD cards with pretty much any HDMI 1.4a device (unlike Nvidia who "chooses" certain displays to support). The Tri-Def software is pretty good, and its what I am using on one of my PCs (w/ AMD 6870). Nvidia is not a bad choice, though, its really up to you.
