Ati All-in-wonder Vid card compatible?

Post by nickels »

My PC has an ATI All-in-wonder 9600 video card:

I have a Samsung 3D ready DLP 6187s set.

I was thinking about checking out the Tridef starter kit:

Can anyone confirm that my video card will work with the Tridef software?
I am pretty sure it can handle the necessary output, but I don't want to spend $150 to find out I was mistaken.

Thanks!

I'm not positive, but that video card might be the absolute bare minimum needed to run stereo3d.

Meaning it might work, but you'd really be better off with a more advanced card (256MB+).

"Supposed" to work with ATI cards as well but cybereality is correct in stating you will want a card with more memory. Generating 3D with the Tridef drivers is a real resource hog so the faster the card the better the results.

I forgot to mention something important, I do not really wish to do gaming. All I really am interested in is watching movies. So, hopefully my card is good enough for that.
