Thor - The 3D Blu-ray

Okay we beat this one to death here.

And I just rented the 3D blu-ray. I watched it on a full HD 3D Plasma. The viewing of this film in 1080P per eye 3D is really impressive. While I still think the 3D is weak. The crystal clear imaging really helps this movie. I am absolutely certain now that these movies with weak 3D will be more impressive when viewed on full HD 3D equipment.

Chief's score card:
Story: 9
Acting:7
Special effects:9.5
3D: 7.0/7.25
Final Score: a rock solid 9.0

I really enjoyed the show on my home set-up more than my theater experience. This was really kick ass. I watched it twice in one night. The giant robot scene was just incredible.

The movie was at least entertaining, but I felt the 3D was weak (at least in theaters).
