ssg-3100gb support for mitsubishi 3dtv?

Post by ignatius »

Hey guys,

I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to get the ssg-3100gb samsung glasses working with a mitsubishi tv.

I have an IR emitter but that doesn't connect with the samsung glasses, my mits tv has a built-in dlp emitter which also doesn't work with the samsung.

Now i'm wondering if i could buy the mitsubishi adapter the one called, "3DA-1 3D" and if that would work with the samsung glasses.

But i'm not 100% sure if that will work.

The samsung glasses also use a newer method of connecting to the tv using bluetooth. So, i'm not sure if this is the only way samsung glasses connect with the tv which would really suck if that were true.

Any help figuring this out would be great i hope there is a solution.

Best,

Those glasses are for Samsung only (and only newer models at that). I don't believe they interface with Mitsubishi TVs. In order to do that they would need a VESA 3-pin mini-din plug, which can go directly into the Mitsu (or into the 3DA-1) but I don't believe the Samsung glasses use this standard.
