Hi,
I thought that the new HDMI 1.4 amps would also pass-through a 720/120Hz signal, but seems that I was wrong. Too bad I already bought a Yamaha amp...
So.. Looking for an amp that will successfully pass through a 720p/120Hz signal to my Acer H5360?
Are there any amplifiers that pass-through 720/120Hz signal?

do you mean that you are using a sound amplifier to reach longer distances?

If you're running 3d-vision you might encounter problem because the amplifier might switch the edid info in the hdmi. It's a possibility but i'm not 100% sure it's a fact with all amps.

Doesn't Nvidia 3D Vision use Dual-Link DVI?

Umm,
I'm just trying to use my amp as a hdmi switcher, and you don't need dual-link with 720p, it's only required for >720p resolutions. Of course I did the .inf trick to enable 1280x720p/120Hz but still no avail.
Yamaha tech support explained it to me, their amps can't pass through a 120Hz signal, since it isn't a standard signal... Now I bought a new Yamaha amp that should work, but found out that only the USA version can pass through 120Hz signal. I enquired Onkyo about this, and they said none of their amps pass through a 120Hz signal. This is pure pain.
If anyone knows any HDMI switches, or amps, that have been proven to pass through a 1280x720/120Hz signal, please chime in!
