Is there any possibility to LCD/LED monitors gear up for DOLBY3D
as Dolby3d basically work by filtering two different color spectrum.
1> Can two eye output from drivers be tunned to display two different color skims in checkerboard pattern.
2> in HD resolution, on more tight pixel packed HD displays like of 21.5" holes of checkerboard can easily be compensated for quality as they be almost unnoticeable
3> Dolby glasses can do rest of the work by filtering it just like normal anaglyph glasses does.
4> Is there any other way to implement by passive technology just like anaglyph without color and quality loss < I found colorcode a good invention, still it pretty much messes with colors.)
What is best side:
1> Wonder benefits as No resolution loss like line interleaved 3D & No flickers or expensive to employ and recharge hassles of shutter glasses.
2> Small glasses light weight can be molded in fashionable looking frames,quite user friendly
I did tried to contact Dolby on 11/01/10 through their forums if they could do so
Sadly they did not replied at all..............
Is it impossible to employ this great theater 3D technology on LCD Monitors?

Unfortunately Infitec (the method Dolby3D uses) doesn't really work very well with LCD displays and is especially not suitable for a checkerboard pattern type of display.
The reason for that is that the Infitec filter is actually very thick, relative to standard colour filters or even polarising filters.
The infitec filter is composed of many layers of material that cannot be compressed to a thin layer otherwise it would loose it's narrow band filtering properties.
In theory if you were to make an infitec LCD display, you'd have to replace the original RGB colour gates inside the display with the equivalent Infitec ones.
Such a display has viewing angle issues : looking at the display from the side, you'd see the light going through the wrong filter : it creates crosstalk, and due to the thinkness of the filters, it means the viewing angle is very small (smaller than any Xpol/µpol interlaced based display).
Because of that viewing angle issue : checkerboarding would be the worst possible pattern to choose as you'd get a narrow vieving angle both horizontally and vertically ! Xpol/µpol displays are line interlaced horizontally for a reason : it's the least worse option.

Plus the very high refresh rates the system needs. Unlike anaglyph, only one view is shown at a time, and it's done several times per each frame. I can't remember the details though.

He was suggesting a passive approach using the filters on a passive display, not the actual Dolby3D system used in cinemas.
