I was wondering what 3D formats were supported by the current generation of 3D TVs?
For example, side-by-side, interlaced, or anything other then HDMI 1.4.
I would love it if owners of any of the new TVs could add their TV and what they have found it supports in this thread for others interested in your particular TV.
Thanks

I think its all different for each brand but many of them support these "legacy" formats. I know the Samsung's support just about everything and the Panasonic supports side-by-side. Not sure about the other brands.

Thanks for that.cybereality wrote:I think its all different for each brand but many of them support these "legacy" formats. I know the Samsung's support just about everything and the Panasonic supports side-by-side. Not sure about the other brands.
I guess I should have been a little clearer in what I'm after. I was thinking that people that own the TV could list what TV they have and what formats they can confirm work through which interface.
For example (please don't take this as reference because I have no idea):
Samsung - PN58C8000
- Side-by-side - through HDMI only
- Interlaced - through component input only
If this makes any sense?
